Grace and peace be unto you.
I thank God for the beginning of a new era in our church history, continue to fast and pray that we will stay humble and be able to hear the voice of the Lord.
The authority of Jesus Christ was based on the depth of His own life and not on tradition.
Works done by a true believer are not based on himself but on the " Rock" who is Christ
Himself. - Matthew 7:28-29
The authority of the Church belongs to, rests in, and mirrors Christ and His teachings. This authority is not the product of tradition, popularity, nor can it be bought or sold. It is only achieved by basing its existence on the Word, believing in and mirroring the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ and acknowledging the fact that God is the Creator of all.
The form of church government clearly established in Scripture is theocratic in nature. It is not autocratic, governed by one man. It is not bureaucratic governed by a few. It is not democratic, governed by the people. God chooses in a theocracy. He calls, and equips certain persons to be leaders and rulers for His people, delegating a measure of authority to them, according to His will.
We, the Church of Christ Written in Heaven, must remember that we serve a God of love. We must remember that we serve a God of Order and that all things must be done decently and in order (I Corinthian 14:40). Just as much as we believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, we must also believe that this church was founded and stands today on the gospel truth. Gospel being two-fold: 1) every word of the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation (read it daily); 2) Christ being Lord and Savior.
I urge you to uphold, honor, and respect the doctrine of this great church and keep "One God, One People and One Vision" to heart.
